The 2025 Festival of Landscape Architecture will take place in nipaluna/Hobart from 19–21 October. With the theme DARK, we explored the interplay of opposites — light and shadow, beauty and unease, clarity and ambiguity. Our lead typeface, a reimagined Serif Gothic, embodies this tension. By removing its counterspaces, we transformed a traditionally elegant form into something more unsettling — a visual metaphor for the unseen, the intuitive, the unknown.
